LESS RESTRICTION, MORE POWER!

Stock 4.0L throttle body necks down to 55mm. These are bored to 62mm all the way through. A 62mm throttle body offers a 35% gain in air flow over stock. These work especially well for supercharged and/or stroked engines. And if you have a 2.5L engine, this takes you from a stock 48mm to 62mm, a 90% increase.

All core throttle bodies are evaluated, disassembled, cleaned and media blasted to remove the excess corrosion, debris, and oxidation. We paint the throttle linkage, then they are machine bored all the way through to a full 62mm, and specially bored to reduce/eliminate the low-speed whistle found on most other throttle bodies. Unless you have us port your tub and manifold (yes, we do this now!), there is no reason to go any larger than 62mm, as the bore diameter in your stock intake manifold is no larger than 62mm. Includes a new gasket. Sensors are not included (you must move the sensors from your throttle body)
